Access to your social media accounts, including Facebook and Google Business Profile, is a necessary first step before we are able to go live with your social media strategy and/or social media advertising.

If you already have a Facebook (Meta) Business account, granting Constellation access should be a straightforward process. Here’s a quick video, and the steps are listed below.

  1. Log in at business.facebook.com and head to “Settings.”
  2. Navigate to the “Partners” tab and choose “Give a Partner Access”
  3. Enter Constellation’s Business ID (895699447244977) to allow us to become a partner on your account.
  4. Choose Assign Assets, and under “New Pages experience,” scroll down and click “Everything.”
  5. In the same list, head to “Instagram accounts,” scroll down and click “Everything.”
  6. If running Meta ads, Choose Assign Assets again and select your ad account. Enter Constellation’s Business ID (895699447244977) again if needed.

If you do not already have a Facebook Business account, here’s what to do:

  1. Try to login at business.facebook.com with your regular Facebook credentials. If this doesn’t work, set up a new account there.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the “Settings” cog.
  3. Choose “Pages,” “Add,” and then “Add a Page.”
  4. Enter the name or URL of you business’s Facebook page. This should be approved immediately as long as you have full control of the business page!
  5. Navigate to the “Partners” tab and choose “Give a Partner Access”
  6. Enter Constellation’s Business ID (895699447244977) to allow us to become a partner on your account.
  7. Choose Assign Assets, and under “New Pages experience,” scroll down and click “Everything.”
  8. In the same list, head to “Instagram accounts,” scroll down and click “Everything.”

Although we try to make it as easy as possible to share access, we have seen a variety of different issues pop up in the Facebook process! If you run into difficulties, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team who can assist you on a screenshare.
